One may ask what do the two figures can have in common. It’s better explained with a preamble. Today I was reviewing a website (link no longer available, sorry) created by my protégé, when I spotted something that inspired me to write this post. As I usually do, I visited it using several browsers, to check if […]

Experienced IT Professional, I created my first "widespread" software in 1993, using good old Assembly 80x86 and The Programmer's Bible by P.Norton. It was an innocuous virus, which didn't do anything but replicating itself. I risked being kicked out of school, which some may think is "cool", but, at the time, it wasn't. So, I had to put out the "coder fire" in me until after school, and I "officially" started my career as a Software Developer in 1997.

A good Developer cares about what he’s doing, he likes to find his own errors and goes through a path of continuous improvement. A typical […]
Since I started contributing to a few blogs related to the world of Software Development, I’ve received several emails in which the readers asked me to give them suggestions and recommendations on how to become a Developer. While reading these emails, I noticed each one seemed to have a different reason for wanting to become […]
Following the suggestions of several friends and colleagues, and thanks to the inspiration given to me by Martyn Chamberlin, a young and energetic entrepreneur who gave me the honour of listening to my advice, I decided to start a blog focused on the world of Software Development. I’m aware that there are tons of them […]
