Prices by Country for WooCommerce – What’s new

Prices by Country for WooCommerce has been updated to version 1.6.5.150811. This update brings the following improvements and fixes:

  • Added new filter for variable product prices transient key. The filter is necessary to fix an issue caused by WooCommerce 2.4, which causes variable product prices not to be retrieved dynamically. The new filter ensures that the transient key used to cache product prices takes customer’s country into account, thus storing a copy of product prices for each region.

Prices by Country for WooCommerce has been updated to version 1.6.3.150730. This update brings the following improvements and fixes:

  • Fixed widget conflict with Tax Display by Country plugin. The conflict was caused by the Prices by Country plugin using the same widget ID for the country selector widget. This is a minor fix, but we recommend installing the update if you use the Tax Display plugin, to be on the safe side.

Prices by Country for WooCommerce – What’s new

Prices by Country for WooCommerce has been updated to version 1.6.1.150622. This update brings the following improvements and fixes:

  • Improved performances. The Prices by Country plugin now uses cookies, rather than session variables, whenever possible. This change was made because we found out that, since WooCommerce 2.3, the handling of sessions is not optimal and can lead to performance issues. We also discovered that WooCommerce does not always clean up old sessions as it should, and that could cause a bloat of the database. By using cookies, the Prices by Country plugin will no longer be affected by those issues, and will perform consistently fast.
